Kinect Joy Ride combines the fun of classic karting with the controller-free gameplay of Kinect. Enjoy five different game modes as you race through three unique worlds with stunning landscapes. what will hold Microsoft Xbox kinect back the most?
Best answer:
probably until the next big consoles.what holds microsoft back is that the kinect is for the casual gamer, while most xbox users are hardcore. i believe the kinect will last 1-3 years, especially with the advanced technology it already use. BE PATIENTWell I'm a hardcore gamer but I also love playing on Kinect. I think if anything is holding it back, very much like the fledgling Wii, is that the only really good software is in-house. The third party stuff is very hit-and-miss in both quality of content and implementation of the hardware.

There is more and more good stuff coming though. Child of Eden is good, Gunstringer looks quite cool, and the incorporation of Kinect features such as voice control and head tracking into core games such as Forza and Mass Effect I believe will enhance those games in a way that other platforms (the PS3 for example) can't.
