Would Playstation Move work if the playstation console is not in front of me?

the eye camera needs to be in front of you to capture your motions with the controllers or it won't work.yes it needs to be around the tv as it need to pick up where your pointing
You could always get an extension cable and have it going round the wall to the tv from the ps3
