which is better the nintendo ds or the sony psp?
Best answer:
Personally said both are great handhelds with their own qualities. The PSP seems to be focused on a more wider group with the abilities to watch movies and all that. In my own opinion I don't care if the PSP can play movies, if I want to see a movie I'll look it on a bigger screen.
In terms of games, PSP goes with more serious games while the DS (though having some serious games) goes more to the colorful games with easy to recognizable characters. The touch screen is not always used in ever DS game but it still has some great games like Zelda.
I never did like the PSP, which is odd since I have mostly been a Playstation player but the PSP just strikes me odd, it tries to be a console while it isn't and the controls can be rather...dodgy. I also feel some games are simply limited in terms of controls on the PSP (like most FPS or Splinter Cell games)
Remember, graphics isn't everything, gameplay, controls, story line and replay value is important too, and the DS really does have some great and interesting games.I think the DS is better because it did what it was supposed to do: portable gaming machine. The PSP is not very good at that. And I beg to differ that the PSP has better games. The DS has more and better games than the PSP.
If you're looking for something that tries to do everything, then it's the PSP. But there are other things that does a better job than the PSP. The iPhone is something that can do what the PSP can do and then some.
