Can you save Playstation games with the Playstation 2 hard drive?

yes if you use a playstation memery card. like stick the card in the ps2 and save the ps1 game on it lol hope i helpedI tried, it doesn't work for me... :(No. Since the PS1 didn't have a Hard drive, there is no way to get a game to recognize it.
The only way to get a PS1 game to save, is by using a real PS1 Memory card.
PS2 Memory Cards will not work for PS1 games played on a PS2.
