On the playstation 3 the memory card front cover what is that part called?

You want to replace the lid, or the actual flash card readers?
I'm not sure you will be able to replace the lid, as Sony doesn't make just the lid, and the only PS3s that had it are backward compatible PS3s, are all of them are no longer produced.
You can try calling Sony for a lid, but don't be surprised if you can't find one: 1-800-345-SONY (7669).
What you put the memory cards in is called the Flash Card Reader Ports.
