Three Microsoft Kinect Games

There will be around ten to fifteen games released with the Xbox Kinect in the next few months. These initial release games will all be very different. They will also be composed of several different genres such as exercise games and adventure games. This article is basically going to describe a few of these Kinect games so you can get an idea of what Microsoft has in store for you.
The video game getting the most publicity at the moment is probably Star Wars. In a video released about this Star Wars game, someone is shown pretending to hold a lightsaber while fighting several enemies. The movements looked pretty realistic, meaning that if the player swung his hands left, the lightsaber would also swing left. With such a unique innovation like this Kinect Star Wars game, there are bound to be some very interesting games released in the future.
Another game called Dance Central is being developed by MTV Games. In this game the Kinect camera is used to basically watch your every move. This game will actually be able to help you learn how to dance. And of course the camera will be constantly judging each and every dance move you make.
The Kinect system wouldn't be complete without its own unique racing game. It is going to be called Joy Ride, and it may change the way that racing games are played forever. This game is played by keeping your hands in front of you, and then moving them like you'd move a steering wheel. So basically if you want to turn left, you just have to rotate your hands left. There are many other controls also. For example you can turn your body to the left or the right, and this will spin your car in the direction that you move. Many people feel that the Microsoft Kinect is truly helping technology to take a big leap forward.
