Using the Sims Medieval Cheats
Article by Erik Difilippo
Having sold a great number of copies over the years, Sims is considered one of the best games that have ever been developed. Breaking away from the routine of other highly sold games that are based on exercising sheer violence in order to achieve the goals, this series is presented to us as a simulator of day-to-day life. While originally Electronic Arts was not expecting this game to sell more than two hundred thousand copies, since the idea of guiding a character through activities that could hardly be regarded as spectacular seemed quite boring, they were shocked to find that the first version of the game alone had sold over six million copies. Due to the ever increasing demand, Maxis and Electronic Arts started developing new updates constantly that introduced new activities and objects into the life of the Sim.Just like in the previous Sims games, it is very likely that the Sims Medieval cheats will be enabled in the same way. If you are new to the Sims world, then you should know that in order to enter cheats you will need to press the shift, the control and the c buttons simultaneously any time you want to enable a certain cheat if you are using Windows XP or Windows 7. Some players reported that you will need to press the windows button instead of the C key if you are using Vista. On a Mac you will have to press the command key instead of the control button and you will see a rectangular typing area popping up at the top of your screen. Afterwards, you can simply type in the cheat that you want. You will be ultimately responsible for developing a Kingdom, and making it grow. You must ensure that your subjects are content, and have everything they need to stay alive every single day. There are a variety of goals that you may decide to achieve within your Kingdom, whether it be political, military or economic. The particular goal that you choose then determines the quests you will get and the remaining gameplay. In the game, it is possible to create hero characters and train these to accomplish quests. These heroes are created after you construct different kinds of buildings, and you must boost their skills and personalities. These heroes may very well be anything from knights to craftsmen, or rulers to doctors. The quests are a fresh element to the game, and enable players to build up skill points, experience points and kingdom points. The points are then accumulated to help you to level up. Levelling up, in turn, uncovers new sections of the game, and unlocks unique quests. These quests can be accomplished by one single Sim, or might require the help of some heroes.
The Sims universe is now placed in the Middle Ages and not in the modern society you got used to. However, that does not mean that you will not need the Sims Medieval cheats for obtaining more gold, increasing the speed of the game or getting a little extra lifetime happiness for example. At the same time, it is very likely that you will need to enable the cheats before you can actually type in the command. In Sims 3 you need to type in "testingcheatsenabled" for this action therefore, you can try out this command in Sims Medieval and see where that gets you.Although, when enabling cheats in the known Sims releases, you could have typed "help" to display the available cheats, nobody can confirm or infirm that this is going to work in Sims Medieval also. Because this game has not been released yet, most of the Sims Medieval cheats available on various sites are just speculations for the time being. However, many Sims fans predict that some of the cheats you used in the previous releases will work fine in Sims Medieval as well.John Donovan loves PC games especially the cheats for sims 3.
