CGRundertow - MORTAL KOMBAT for Playstation 3 Video Game Review
Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Mortal Kombat from NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive for the PlayStation 3. Mortal Kombat is also available for the Xbox 360. Mortal Kombat is a revival of the legendary Midway fighting franchise. The word "reboot" has become the rage these days, and that's what developer NetherRealm Studios has done with this ninth installment...rebooting Mortal Kombat by going back to its roots - bloody roots. Mortal Kombat is a 2.5D fighter. The character models are in 3D, but the gameplay is based entirely on a flat 2D plane, like the seminal early entries that made the franchise so notorious. This video review features video gameplay footage of Mortal Kombat for the PlayStation 3 and audio commentary from Classic Game Room's Derek.
